Looking back on our recent, intense creation process of building out three viable prototypes, I think our most successful and strongest prototype was Floppy Frog. This was a successful prototype because the game has a simple design, gameplay, and mechanics, while still being entertaining and aesthetically pleasing. The chunky design of Floppy Frog helps the player view all moving assets easily, as well as distinguish all assets within the game. The simple game play mechanics also make the game fun to play.

The other three members currently on Team Bean all had a good working relationship, as well as good individual workflows. All members contributed well to the game and participated well with one another. Questions were consistently asked and answered within a timely manner which helped everyone on the team create their separate parts to the game efficiently. The feedback we gave each other throughout the process was constructive and professional, and creative processes were encouraged. Something that really worked well for our team was constant scrum meetings, as well as group work sessions.
I was able to contribute to the success of Floppy Frog because of the timely manner I exported assets. By consistently exporting assets within a timely manner, the programmer was able to implement them in the game and work on core mechanics of the game. This also helped for the designer to build levels and help with the game play mechanics. There is always room for improvement, so something I want to focus on for the next game I contribute to is working with the designer(s) a bit more. For Floppy Frog, the designer and I should have asked more questions amongst each other and created a specific list of assets that were needed during the beginning of the prototype process. Instead of creating a list, myself as well as the designer would randomly come up with assets on different days which resulted in some days consisting of hours of asset creation, and other days with little to no asset creation. Overall I think our team was able to work well together based on the fun working environment we created at the beginning of the prototypes. Being open, friendly, and contributing well to the prototyping process are all qualities I want to take with me through this experience.
